Hi, Toni. I'm Gene. Welcome to MM, Mator Madness. MM is here to help
us all. You are safe here. I have been addicted to tomatoes for
seventy years. My finest experience was about 1985, the year some
unknown malady devastated all my friends' gardens and they all came
to Heartwood and oohed and ahed and took away buckets and buckets of
juicy fruit. Andy Warhol was wrong; I was a hero for at least fifteen
hours. I presume my garden escaped the tomato gods' wrath because of
isolation and clearly superior gardening techniques. What is your
favorite tomato story?
