This is the one bit of "expert" advice that most defies logic. Twenty goats
on a piece of land that would ruin it will easily support six goats, three
sheep, a donkey, a horse, two cows, and countless chickens with no harm at
all to
the land or the animals. Mono-husbandry is far more damaging to land than
mono-cropping (which is itself pretty devastating).
