Yup, no matter how well you seal the blooming plexiglass in, when it starts snowing it feels like a frost train is coming through somehow.
So, they come out of the windows, go back in their boxes and down to
the old miner's cabin. Heck, they even get to "sleep" on the old built in cots <g>
The heat screens are a bigger mess screen that kinda looks like woven
basket weave and the strands are thicker. They cover the whole window. They are real good at keeping the sun off the glass, yet you
can see out just fine. They are also good at keeping folks outside from seeing inside. The windows look black from outside. We went to
this energy efficient house seminar and they offered them at a discount if you ordered them then. We got some for the windows that get a lot of direct sun. Found out they work great and then a neighbor mentioned that they also work to keep the cold out, so we called and we'll get the seminar discount for the rest of the windows.
We're going to have to put 3 coats of the "thou shalt not say"
