The Starr
investigation, which could have brought criminal charges if it had found any
evidence, closed down empty handed.
There was never a serious investigation. If there had, B. C.'s personal
secretary Betty would have been called to the stand. When she wasn't,
everyone knew that some deal had been worked behind closed doors. Many
people think that the missing FBI files were used to blackmail key
legislators.
Besides, B. C. had already betrayed our country with his "free trade"
agreements. IMO that was enough to remove him from office.
For me the turning point was when White House interns named "M." started
dropping like flies after it was announced that an intern with the
initial "M." would be spilling the beans about sexual harrassment in the
Oval Office.
