Just to summarize the point glaring me in the face from day to day-
I was so desperate to get out of town and so grateful to have a quiet,
peaceful, sane country home, that I underestimated my real needs and settled
for too little. I looked at at least 50 properties before buying this one,
but I should have looked further. (Really abundant water would help in some
of these dry years!) And we built our very modest home too modest. I was
unable to think big, I was so grateful to have made my escape from the city.
Shoulda thought bigger!
