Yes, Norman, euphemism is regularly employed in biblical literature. The texts you cite are good examples. Yes, Ezekiel has some very confronting and even offensive passages in which euphemisms are used. Usually euphemisms are used for modesty's sake,
but if that was Ezekiel's motive, it was completely undone by the nature of his content.
