There are a few synonyms, similar meanings, for rain.
G$M rain, more or less general term
ZRZYP (soaking in) rain Ps 72:6
YWRH and MWRH early rains
M+R shower
MLQW$ latter rains
SGRYR drizzle, steady rain
(RYPYM downpour
