The kind of verbal compounding you’ve suggested does not really take place in
Hebrew. Furthermore, the word for ‘open’ in Hebrew is tri-consonantal (פתח),
while a good case can be made for the word ‘see’ being biconsonantal (רא).
Also, just a heads up that Isaac Fried’s view is very idiosyncratic. By all
means consult his website and evaluate his views for yourself, but please
understand that, as far as I know, no Hebrew scholars support his views.
