Joel, I see what you're saying. In the
Merriam-Webster's Dictionary I have there are no
words beginning with "sr" except "sri." This word
is of Sanskrit background, literally means
"majesty, holiness," and is used "as a
conventional title of respect when addressing or
speaking of a distinguished Indian.
Maybe this word is related to the name of Sri Lanka.
