Dear Charles, Nice to hear from you again.The Rechabites in Jeremiah are spelled resh-kaf-bet-yod, and so are not related to Rahab of Jericho who was resh-het-bet, nor to Rahab the mythical sea monster, resh-he-bet.

as Exodus when a group from Mesopotamia are joined by Egyptians, Midianites,
and soon therafter Canaanites like Rahab.
Did the Rehabites become "Jewish" and if so what does that mean?
Their separate identity as Rehabites continued into the time of Jeremiah.
