In biblical hebrew, you often have to choose between giving a simple answer
or an accurate one. This time I chose the simple answer.
Anyhow, my "misleading" answer wouldn't be necessary if your answer to Chris
had been perfect ;)

P.S. - I still insist that the "shortned future" of HYH expresses mainly a
wish. Of course, it will be only logical that those forms in the paradigm
that have a vayyiqtol-like formation would express the past. But they are a
minority (indeed a large one, but still a minority) within the paradigm.
