<x-tad-bigger>Hello Wheatsville!
</x-tad-bigger>
<x-tad-bigger>
Some upcoming activities that I would like you to know about: Third Thursday and our Spring Member Gathering!

It’s Third Thursday time again with all your friendly merchants of Guadalupe will be providing fun activities for you and yours. Wheatsville is having a May carnival of sorts with Bands, free root beer and other samples, fire dancers, tarot readers and knee-high chess!

From 6-10 pm on May 19</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>th</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>, we’ll have some fun for you all!

Here’s the basic run down:

</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>At 6pm come for free samples and free St. Arnolds Root Beer </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>as well as free popcorn from our friends at In-Step.
</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>
At 6:30, our own band, Herb Pharm </x-tad-bigger>
<x-tad-bigger>will get down and play their blues for a while. These guys excited the crowd at the last Third Thursday and at the Wheatsville Herb Fair and Artsfest.
</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>
At 7:30, we will be showcasing some fire dancing</x-tad-bigger>
<x-tad-bigger>, which should be very exciting!
</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>
Around 8:15, Joe, our bulk buyer’s band, Dreamsickle</x-tad-bigger>
<x-tad-bigger>, will be playing. </x-tad-bigger>
<x-tad-bigger>They describe themselves as </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>the pop rock honkytonk country dance party reggae blues europower trio from Austin Texas </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>on their web-site </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>www.dreamsickle.net</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger> </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>
</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>
We’ll end the night from around 9:30-10 with some more fire dancing!
</x-tad-bigger>

</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>Throughout the night, play Knee-High Chess from the Austin Parks Foundation </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>www.austinparks.org</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger> . This cool set allows you to really get into your game. Thanks to the Austin Parks Foundation for allowing us to use their pawns. </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>
</x-tad-bigger>
<x-tad-bigger>Knee-High Chess is also available for public use at </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>Wooldridge Square on Saturdays, from 12:30pm-3:30pm</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger> (subject to availability of the park).

Our neighbors at </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>Movin’ Easy</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger> had a great show all night with a variety of dancers, instruction and demonstrations and they plan on having even more fun this time.

</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>The Austin Duck Adventure folks</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger> will be providing shuttle service again this time. Lots of folks had fun seeing our neighborhood from a different perspective.

IN-STORE
</x-tad-bigger>
<x-tad-bigger>
We are proud to be offering </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>Troller Point Fisheries Wild Alaskan Seafood</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger> </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>www.trollerpoint.com</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger> in our meat case again this year. This small family-owned fishery is dedicated to environmentally safe hook-and-line fishing in Alaska. Check out their </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>Wild Alaskan Salmon, Halibu</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>t and </x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>Black Cod</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>. Black Cod is somewhat rare in US markets, but it reportedly has exceptionally high concentrations of the healthful Omega 3s that people are looking for and it is supposed to be very delicious. It is very popular in Japan. Bryan our meat guy is doing a lot to try and expand our sustainable harvested fish selection at the co-op, please let us know how we’re doing.

</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>Thanks for continuing to support your co-op!
