Title: Re: [TypicalGirls] philly art punk?
Dress Up As Natives were from Pittsburgh - the record's great - and they were absolutely typical of the sound out there. Lead singer Gina was listed as a "guardian angel" on the first Five single. They were on the Public label so there were probably only 200-400 copies made of the single.  I'd love to recruit them for Homework someday.

Does anyone know anything about a band called Dress Up Like Natives (or something like that) from philly in the early 80s, female fronted art punk. Someone told me I would like it and all i can find about them is a listing on a 'collector scum' website noting that they do indeed exist. anyone??
