Wow, thanks so much for that link!! I'm especially happy to see a Furious Pig track on there. Does anyone out there have the Het album? It's a Furious Pig offshoot (featuring the addition of French vocalist Catherine Jauniaux), and what little I've heard is really wonderful —dense, layered, improvisatory and incredibly engaging.

Hey, TGs. Every so often somebody asks me if I can send them a copy
of "Obey the New Wave," the CD of bizarro circa-1980 U.K. D.I.Y. etc.
that I put together as a WFMU premium five years ago. I usually tell
them nope, too late, sorry. But now WFMU has posted the whole thing:
http://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2006/10/dj_compilation_.html

Officially TG-type content: Nancy Sesay & the Melodaires, Androids of
Mu, The Suspicions, Hermine, The Flying Lizards, "Fatal" Microbes,
People In Control, Aqsak Maboul. But I bet people on this list would
dig most of it.
