Title: new releases 05/07/04
yep -- the first album is great, considerably better than their 7" & split 7" & split lp, at least to my ears. must go looking for this one now ... as if i wasn't already spending too much money with the catholic discipline cd out now, & "dna on dna," etc. *sigh*

On the heels of last year's successful Adeline release, the prolific female-fronted Minneapolis foursome went straight back into the studio and recorded 14 tremendous new tracks!  Count on the same great pop hooks, diverse songwriting and infectious energy of the first album with more of a raw, unpolished, rock n roll feel on LP II.  The songs are sadder, the party songs party more, the angry songs are angrier, you get the idea!  think The fun and bounce of the b52's and the GO-GO's, the teeth and smart marbles of Reject All American BIKINI KILL, the hot-wired, charging punk of THE AVENGERS and song topics that go far beyond boyfriends and bubblegum.
