We should write bug report, compare old sources with new ones, attach diff
file
and if all seems OK just fix in test grimoire and ask for integration to
stable.
Exactly as this one. :-)

Problem is that users now have different sources of vlc 0.8.6g. We should
probably ensure all users use exactly the same sources. There is a problem we
have no standard for this. We should probably increase PATCHLEVEL and in
DOWNLOAD file compare HASH and if user has downloaded old sources the system
should "summon -d vlc" and recast vlc.

These HASH changes we can easily detect. Problem is with vendor gpg signed
sources. If vendor changes sources and publish them as the same version with
new
signature we are not able to detect it. There is not a consensus we should
solve
this problem. According to most of developers this is OK.
