Aceepted!

Given that there's only one accepted Temporary Project Lead, and the
week of time has expired, and there haven't been any other
nominations, I'm going to say that we don't need to cast actual
ballots, because there's only one possible candidate.

Actually, according to our bylaws, I'm a filthy liar. We have to have a vote anyway.

http://sourcemage.org/Policy/Voting

The lead voting process is followed for Project lead, so Lead Developers MUST cast a vote, and General Developers MAY cast a vote. More than 50% of the Lead Developers MUST cast a vote, or the vote is invalid. Only a simple majority of votes cast is required.

So the position becomes vacant, and someone else gets to run/call for votes if it doesn't get done this time.

Lead votes last one week from the date they are called for.

Officially calling for this lead vote as soon as I can get home and send a signed email.

You can send your votes to dkowis+smgl AT shlrm.org, and I'll get you back with your hash.

Congratulations to Vlad Glagolev. Project Lead until Jan, if ya'll get
back on the regular election schedule. :)

I'll put together an email of the passwords I have for other services,
and get that sent.

Thanks all!

I second Vlad's and Ismael's nomination. I feel the need to humbly
decline my nomination. I am trying to keep up with necessary work on
the grimoire to keep my 3 machines with SMGL working, maybe I'll expand
to four, if Flux has a new ISO (for USB media) to test. That brings me
to two other sensible nominations:

- Justin "flux_control" Boffemmyer as our current hope of getting the
distro alive again with proper install media
- Jaka Kranjc as our main Sorcery expert, a reliable figure to get
advice from

I hope to one time get to help out with some sorcery/castfs stuff to
realise nonlinear configuration and staging of multiple cast … and
proper encapsulation of casting itself. That I did not find the time
for any of that yet is a sign that my capacity to take on additional
functions is limited by the usual constraints. Since I'm with the
project for 10 years now, I could test the waters with this Lead
Developer thing first … casting votes and such.

Alrighty then,

Thomas
