| To get to such state, I had to deal with bugs from 571 to 581 and 583.
|

| instead automake ones, etc...
|
| With regards with icedtea7, currently I'm getting (after several tweaks):
|
| /usr/share/aclocal/libxosd.m4:9: warning: underquoted definition of
| AM_PATH_LIBXOSD
| /usr/share/aclocal/libxosd.m4:9: run info Automake 'Extending aclocal'
| /usr/share/aclocal/libxosd.m4:9: or see
| http://www.gnu.org/software/automake/manual/automake.html#Extending-aclocal
| configure.ac:18: error: required file './compile' not found
| configure.ac:18: 'automake --add-missing' can install 'compile'
| autoreconf: automake failed with exit status: 1
|
| However I can't get passed this point. Any thoughts?
|
| Well, I'm about to ask for cleanse, to see if things still look good
| from a cleanse stand point...

The only cleanse failure was due to an old bug I filed, 536, due to
openmpi creating a dangling symlink requiring to be removed (I updated
the fixed spell provided with newer version).

So migration to gcc 4.8.1 went well, except by icedtea7, though
cleanse doesn't complain on it. Any ideas about how to overcome that
are welcome.
