Hi all,

today I tried to get DRI to work on my laptop which has an ATI mobility
radeon7500 card. I cast'ed the latest xorg and then casted DRI. I have AGP in
the kernel by the way. From /usr/src/linux/.config:

CONFIG_AGP=y
CONFIG_AGP_INTEL=y

When running X, lsmod gives me:

Module Size Used by
radeon 131104 0
usb_storage 76192 0
sd_mod 18944 0
sr_mod 18340 0
scsi_mod 114380 3 usb_storage,sd_mod,sr_mod
snd_pcm_oss 53416 0
snd_mixer_oss 19840 1 snd_pcm_oss
ohci_hcd 30212 0
eepro100 29068 0
mii 5248 1 eepro100
snd_intel8x0 33288 0
snd_ac97_codec 66948 1 snd_intel8x0
snd_pcm 93192 2 snd_pcm_oss,snd_intel8x0
snd_timer 25348 1 snd_pcm
snd_page_alloc 11784 2 snd_intel8x0,snd_pcm
snd_mpu401_uart 8064 1 snd_intel8x0
snd_rawmidi 24356 1 snd_mpu401_uart
uhci_hcd 32012 0

So the radeon module gets loaded just fine. The relevant portions of my
xorg.conf file:

Section "Module"
Load "dri"
Load "extmod"
Load "dbe"
Load "glx"
Load "freetype"
Load "type1"
EndSection

Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "radeon"
VendorName "ATI Technologies Inc"
BoardName "Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500]"
BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
EndSection

Section "DRI"
Mode 0660
EndSection

I still don't have DRI to work... the logfile says:

and glxinfo , indeed, claims: no dri. Suggestions?
