I would like to see splinter projects like this properly coordinated, our
cauldron/ISO team would benefit from any work done here.

The Cauldron Team has been working on integrating the knoppix hardware
detection for 6 months, contact Team Lead for their status.

More utilities for installing, rescuing would be nice, but I am not sure we
need a GUI installer.
Same recommendation here though, contact Cauldron Team. find out if your
paths
intersect and if possible use existing tools or extend existing tools.
Modularity will save us all a lot of grief in the future.
