Only if you get stuff through a broken proxy or from a bad mirror
(ftp.mozilla.org is a roundrobin dns entry). I just downloaded both the
.tar.gz and the tar.bz2, both have the same md5sum (which is not the one
in the spell):
arwed@Otherland:~$ md5unpack mozilla-source-1.5.tar.bz2
9c7847a5195ee37c85be4d15babf1331 29464409 Oct 15 23:51
mozilla-source-1.5.tar.bz2
arwed@Otherland:~$ md5unpack mozilla-source-1.5.tar.gz
