WSU Seeks "BIOAg" Coordinator: Multi-Million Dollar Program Planned



Washington State University is gearing up for a significant infusion of
research funding for biologically intensive and organic agriculture
(BIOAg). We are already a global leader in BIOAg, with more than 30 WSU
faculty and 15 graduate students involved in research projects that are
advancing the regional bioeconomy.



We are looking for a visionary leader to serve as our new BIOAg
Coordinator. This faculty position will help develop and strengthen the
network of researchers, educators, farmers and consumers who are
transforming our food and farming system. Find more details on our

ANNOUNCEMENT

Washington State University - Biologically Intensive and Organic
Agriculture (BIOAg) Coordinator. Join the expanding and exciting BIOAg
program led by the Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural
Resources. This faculty position will help coordinate current research
and education efforts, assess needs, strengthen the team, and develop
new initiatives in organic and other bio-intensive farming approaches.
Be part of creating a sustainable food system and the emerging
bio-economy in Washington State. The position will be filled as an
Extension Specialist and Assistant Research Professor reporting to the
Director, Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources with
potential affiliation with an appropriate department in the College of
Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (3-year renewable
contract, full time annual, non-tenure track faculty position), located
at a WSU campus, branch campus or research station w/strong preference
for Pullman, WA. Required: Master's or Ph.D. degree must be in an
agricultural or biological science discipline and completed at time of
hire; minimum 3 years professional experience or dissertation research
with BIOAg technologies. For position description listing all
