I forward this to the wider european and American networks thinking there
may be degrees of more direct support than what I could offer directly.

Keep me posted for positive development

Message Body:
Dear Sir or Madam

I am a french student, currently studying for a master degree in management
of
mountain lands with an ecological approach, located in the French Alpes. In
the
frame of this program, I have to complete a 4 month internship, beginning
in February 2017.

I happen to be very much interested in permaculture, and I would really
enjoy to learn more about it by getting involved in a research project.
Therefore I wanted to know whether you could help me with finding a place
where they had research projects that could host interns.

I really feel like my personal values match permaculture thoughts. And as
it somehow means both respecting and caring for ecosystems,
and « managing » lands, so does my master program.
As the latter focuses on mountains areas, it would be nice that my research
project focuses on permaculture in mountain climate conditions, how it
could serve those lands, in term of ecology, and with social and economical
issues.
I’m very interested in gardening techniques, but also growing and
maintaining wildlands and forests. And, as I know permaculture to be a very
broad topic, I’m open to many other research topics that could help.
Also I would be ready to work in remote places on behalf of an
organisation, may it be on the field or in other places that would allow a
research work.

Thank you very much for paying attention. I look forward to hearing from
you.

Sincerely,
