Hi

The answer to your question depends on many other variables.
You mean swales for zone 1, 2, 3 or 4 ?
What is the size of the plot ?
What is your climate like throughout the year ?

If you provide some pictures of your land plus photos of water runoff
events,
i might suggest some ideas.
