Join us at Project Bona Fide on the amazing Isla Ometepe, Nicaragua

Course. If you've been thinking
about doing something to make the world a better place and having some
fun in the tropics while you're at it, here's your chance! The course
will cover a wide range of topics including:

Principles and Ethics of Permaculture Design
Site analysis and design, from the tropics to temperate regions
Landscape master planning and microclimate design
Reading the landscape and pattern recognition
Resiliency building
Design for climate change
Water catchment, storage, filtration, and distribution
Natural building techniques and vernacular architecture
Plant propagation and grafting
Renewable energies and biofuels

Urban and suburban permaculture strategies
Ecovillage design and community building strategies
Networking within the permaculture community and beyond

The folks at Project Bona Fide have worked hard to create an excellent
site where you can see living examples of many of the techniques we
will address in the course. There will be a mix of classroom and
hands-on components so you can pack away tons of information and have
a chance to put some of it into practice. This is sure to be an
