The Permaculture Research Institute, Cold Climate presents:

An Introduction to Permaculture - Fall 2008

at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD)

Minnesota, the Midwest, America, the World: we are at a crucial stage in climate change, economics, energy descent and societal transition. Permaculture helps individuals, communities and families to develop their resources into stable and abundant, resilient settlements. Permaculture principles guide participants in observing patterns of energy use and collection, storage of diverse resources, and working in harmony with natural processes to build a resilient culture. This workshop will introduce Permaculture to participants and assist them in entering new patterns of existence that nurture an environmentally integrated lifestyle.
