Hi Steve,

Harro Wehrman presented at last year's NOFA-NY conference about bio diesel.
He seeds Austrian winter peas with his canola to provide nitrogen and build
soil. The canola has other soil improving qualities to offset it's lack of
VAM and helps the winter peas stand, so that grown together in the same
field, the two crops compliment each other. They are easy to harvest
together and separate afterward.

He also mentioned a new oil crop that is grown together with wheat or spelt
in Germany and separated out after harvest.

Klaas
