Re: John Schinnerer - "So if you're building distributed networks, learn from
crabgrass. A good metaphor and model for growth and evolution of
Permaculture. This would be my 'very short version' response to Michael
Kramer's recent "Challenge to the Movement" essay in Permaculture Activist
magazine. John Schinnerer, MA

If you enjoyed 'Crabgrass' you would probably also appreciate reading some of
Kevin Kelly and Joe Flower writings. Kelly's book 'Out Of Control' is a great
read (a bit of a hard slog though). It discusses findings and applications of
Chaos Theory, Complexity, Memetics etc to environmental and other futurist
issues.

These two web sites below have been around for many years. They both have a
list of excellent design principles which are very applicable to Permaculture
and developing sustainable systems.

2. Quotations From Chairman Kelly - http://www.well.com/user/bbear/kelly.html
