A cross-posting from BrixTalk which should be of interest to many on
SANET :

>can anyone confirm this? this came from a wild food group list.

Confirmed.

I guess I should have posted something on it to this list before. We
are
living in very dangerous times.

Here is the quote I was looking for. For more info on the U.S.D.A.'s
proposed regulations regarding seeds, I'm forwarding this entire
article
with links to confirm the statements within the article. Thanks to
Biblebum
for sending it over. - Jackie

"Food is power. We use it to change behavior. Some may call that
bribery. We
do not apologize,"

Catherine Bertini, former Confidential Assistant to New York State
Governor
Nelson Rockefeller and Executive Director of the U.N. World Food
Program at
the Beijing Woman's Conference (Sept. 1995). Control the food and you

USDA Plans Severe Gardening Restrictions

"Food is power. We use it to change behavior. Some may call that
bribery. We
do not apologize," exclaimed Catherine Bertini, former Confidential
Assistant to New York State Governor Nelson Rockefeller and Executive
Director of the U.N. World Food Program at the Beijing Woman's
Conference
(Sept. 1995). Control the food and you control the people.

When I first read Clinton's Executive Order 13112 of February 3, 1999
--
Invasive Species, I knew it was BAD news and would come back to haunt
us.
Congress did nothing to block it and it is now being implemented under
the
Bush administration.

Quoting the EO, "Alien species" means, with respect to a particular
ecosystem, any species, including its seeds, eggs, spores, or other
biological material capable of propagating that species, that is not
native
to that ecosystem.
Paste this into the Google browser window at the bottom of this page
and
select the http://www.search button: "Invasive Species" + "United
Nations"

The draft executive order on invasive species released in May 1998,
raised
questions whether this executive order was being used to implement
Section
8(h) of the Convention of Biological Diversity -- a treaty that has not
been
ratified by the Senate.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is one
of the
Invasive Species Council (created by Clinton's EO) members. USAID is an
IGO
(intergovernmental organization) of the United Nations. USAID's stated
principal goals are to promote broad-based economic growth, protect
human
health, encourage sound environmental management, and provide emergency
humanitarian assistance to countries in transition. The Agency works in
partnership with host governments, other U.S. government agencies,
other
international donors, U.S. and local businesses and non-governmental
organizations (NGOs). It is in reality a busybody, "step 'n fetchit"
for the
UN to implement their socialistic programs.

Read the article immediately following. I am now in violation of
Clinton's
EO. My crime? I collect wildflower seeds from all over the country. I
have
wildflowers instead of grass on my property. I'm a BA-A-A-D girl!
