g'day,

i live in ipswich in queensland and for lots of reason would not be able to attend this function.

i am however trying to get as much information on greywater systems that would be likely to be approved by shire councils in queensland. you see i am moving to a rural block and would like to know where i can get plans or specifications to construct a grey water treatment system.

as i can not attend can you help me in my quest please?

Installing Home Greywater Systems

Participants will be shown how to actually install a cost effective
greywater system at home capable of being approved by their local
council and the Health Department.

This hands on workshop on Sunday 13th May is a follow on from the
theory seminar on Friday evening 11th May. The workshop will run
from 12:00 noon - until approximately 5:00pm on Sunday 13th May.

Participants will be shown how to actually install a cost effective
greywater system at home capable of being approved by their local
council and the Health Department.

This will be experiential learning workshop and although the heavy
work will be completed using machines participants will have a
chance to get their hands dirty and to poke around as they learn
from experts what is there and why it is there and what else could
have been put there.

There are many issues to be considered and participants will be
run through the entire design, approval and installation process.

A BBQ lunch will be available as will refreshments and afternoon
tea. Free for Ecoliving members.

Bookings are essential and there will be a small fee for
attendance. A childrens playground in the adjoining childcare centre
will keep kids entertained and safely in view but out of the way.
