Not legume- belongs to the Bignoniaceae & is not N-fixing as far as I have
heard.
And would Kudzu grow in a -0- summer rainfall climate like in California? I
doubt it; I bet it was tried in CA back when Kudzu was being promoted by the
USDA.
One dude's invasive is another's coddled curiosity....
