Aloha,

The Occidental Arts & Ecology Center, an intentional community and
ecological design & arts education center near Occidental, CA, is having
their third annual "fundraising feast," with the theme

"Lost Food Crops of the Incas"

It will take place on Saturday, March 27, 1999; Hors d'oeuvres at 6:30
and dinner at 7:00. Chef (and resident master gardener) Doug Gosling
will create a menu inspired by traditional Andean recipes and cuisines
with a Sonoma County flair. All organic ingredients, including yacon,
kiwicha, oca, mashua and quinoa and assorted more familiar vegetables,
edible flowers and herbs will be harvested from the Mother Gardens at
OAEC and accompanied by organic local wines, cheeses and coffees.

This is a benefit dinner, asking $100 - $500 donation per plate.
