Dear Lindbergh Grant Applicant:

We are nearing the final stages of the evaluation process that will select
the 2005 Lindbergh Grant recipients. Because it has been several months
since you originally applied for a Lindbergh Grant, we would appreciate your
updating us on your proposed project. Please respond to the questions below
and keep your responses brief, but complete. Even if there are no changes
to report, please respond accordingly.

Please excuse any formatting problems that you may experience in receiving
this questionnaire. This update should be sent to the Foundation office via
e-mail or standard mail on or before January 3, 2005. You may contact our
office if you have any questions.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that you will be
notified in writing of your status regarding a Lindbergh Grant on or before
April 15, 2005. Because of difficulty in reaching applicants doing
fieldwork, it is necessary for you to notify the Foundation regarding any
changes in address/phone/e-mail/etc. Those selected for funding who are
unable to be reached within one month of their selection may be asked to
forfeit their grant funds.
