Folks,
Just seen some info on slashdot about the
Open Archive Iniative http://www.openarchives.org/
this seems to be a common standard for "harvesting"
metadata (i.e. info about the document: the creator
of the document).

I think theres a strong case for working with emerging
standards as it will make our stuff more interoperable
with other archives.

An example doc follows. I've added a few comments
to explain thins a bit maekerd by ---- ar start of line
