I guess I can also ask would it be too late to try to make another nuc? I wasn't sure if pulling frames from one of my strong hives would be harmful now as I don't want to weaken our strong hives.

Thanks,
Shadi Ana

Hello,
Upon inspecting my hives today (to install the second dose of Apiguard), it appears my nuc has been destroyed by wax moths. The nuc was strong prior to treatment, but it must have been too hard on the new hive.
I did locate my queen I just purchased - marked- and some nurse bees. I happened to keep the queen cage from her installation and put them all back in, but I have no cork, so the ends are capped in foil and it's in my cooler, darker room.
Seemed like a waste to leave her to die since she was doing a good job. I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in the queen. Feel free to call or email me. I am busy freezing my frames to use next year...
