Got Don to check the hives this afternoon. The diagnosis is EFB which is good news under the circumstances. Now I just need to find a vet who can write a prescription for some terramycin.

Was in one of my hives this morning and noticed a very strong musky odor. Made me think of old hay. Not normal for a beehive though.

Didn't notice much else. Spotty brood pattern and not a lot of it.

Doesn't seem good to me.
