This is where your bees are likely to be hanging out for the next few weeks. The tulip poplars are blooming and on this tree, at least, there are still plenty of unopened buds. Tulip poplars are notoriously tall trees so the flowers are generally only seen by us after they fall to the ground. If you would like to personally appreciate the beauty of still-blooming tulip poplar flowers, visit this tree just off of the Hillsborough Hardeeā€™s parking lot on the Interstate side of the building. Flowers can be seen at eye level.
