They are native mining bees (Andrena Sp). Early pollinators. This site is 3 weeks early They, like 99 % of the bee population, do not produce honey. Of the 7,000+ known bee species only 7 produce honey. Though others store nectar & pollen its not the same process as our girls. If my memory serves me right they were active for 2-3 weeks there before sealing off their chambers, but i could be mistaken Marty Sent from my iPhone
