Oops, apologies -- Andi has 10-frame medium equipment, not 8-frame medium.

For those who don't know Andi, she was one of our OCBA Youth Apprentices a couple of years ago. She has done outstanding work as a honey bee ambassador, appearing in feature articles in the newspaper several times, sharing at festival information booths across NC and VA and winning ribbons at the NC State Fair. Did I mention that she's 13 years old, starting all of this when she was 11?

Both of her colonies were started from nucs last spring. One nuc came from Master Beekeeper Todd Walker, the other from Master Beekeeper Randall Austin. Both of the queens are locally-raised from long-standing, localized bloodlines in their respective bee yards, bred for gentleness and productivity. Both bee yards have produced a number of ribbons for honey & honey products at the NC State Fair. :-)

Andi's equipment is 8-frame mediums and includes Miller top feeders.

It takes money to help people in Haiti. Please give Andi an extremely generous price for these hives & colonies!

This may be early, but ... Andi has loved her experiences as a beekeeper, but she's found that she prefers educating people about bees and studying them over having her hands in her hive.  To that end, she would like to sell her hives and change her bee focus just a bit, so ......

For sale:  2 healthy honeybee hives and all related equipment.  The bees are extremely busy on warm, sunny days and appear to be thriving.  There should be honey to harvest when the time comes.  Reasonable offers considered.  Proceeds will help send Andi to Haiti to do mission work with the Hands and Feet Project.
