Dear seasoned Bee keepers,
One of my newly installed packages have done an exceptional job of
drawing out comb on their new foundation, however they have also built
a bunch of burr comb between the two frames that the queen cage sat in
for a few days. The cage has since been removed, but due to the
slightly larger space between the two frames the burr is continuing to
build up.
Any reccomendations for how to separate these without harming any new
bee production? The burrs are roughly in the center of two frames.
The new colonly has had 2 weeks to settle in so far.
Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Dan
