Janet congrats...I hope. 

Did you crack the lid? Just wanting to eliminate robbing a dead out. 

Check them soon to be sure they are still there. I'd pull that plastic. Way to hot now. 

Lift the back of the hive. Is it light?  Don't feed to just feed.  But if it lite then either mix is fine in this temp range for the next week.

This is not a serious problem but I have a hive I didn't expect to survive the winter because it was weak.   To my surprise it  seems quite strong by the amount of bees flying happily the few times the weather has permitted.  Because of my doubts for their survival I closed them up with 2-2 sugar water, 3 frames of honey and a bit of pollen with the hive wrapped on three sides with plastic.

Since they are doing well (I checked) what should I start feeding them now?  Wish I could kiss 'em!
