All,

At this stage several people have responded and I will discuss with them in sequential order, with the first person actually being interested in the whole lot.

Thanks for your interest,
Volker

All,

After loosing five hives since fall last year I have reluctantly decided to leave beekeeping to others with more persistance, patience and time.  I look forward to buying local honey from the experts!

I have about 10 deep brood boxes and 10 medium supers, many of them have good drawn-out comb and would be ready to use.  The 10-frame boxes have been frozen to kill any bugs, but I don't want to store them indefinetly, because wax moths will eventually destroy the comb.  Some frames even have honey remaining in them that the bees did not use over winter  Most of the frames are about two years old, painted white and in good condition. I have not used any chemicals on the hives, except for formic acid treatments (Mite Away strips).  I believe that varoa was the main culprit; loosing two queens from four hive due to the formic acid treatment did not improve my situtation either.

I also have telescopic tops, screened bottom boards, inner covers, an almost new honey extractor, various implements & tools etc.

Please let me know if you are interested to buy the equipment.

Regards,
Volker
