Hi OCBAers,
Do we have any folks up for doing a removal from inside a wall? Please reach out to Lori if you are interested and let her know your rates.
Lori,
I'm forwarding to this list as someone here should be able to help. Depending on what the wall is made out of, you may also need a contractor to put it back together after the bees are out.
Thanks for not jumping to "kill them all" mode! In addition to being bad for the bees, it'll also cause damage to the inside of your wall as spreading bees leaves behind honey and larvae to rot.
Catherine

Hey Ash,We’ve just determined that the weird noises I’ve been hearing proceed from the fact that I seem to have a colony of bees living in the wall of my house. This is clearly not OK, and they need to leave. However, since it’s bees, I don’t want to just go into full SLAYRAGE EXTERMINATE MY ENEMIES mode, but would like, if possible, to just get them to relocate without killing them. Didn’t you tell me that Catherine keeps bees? Could you ask her if she knows of anyone or anywhere locally that I could go to for help with this?Any advice welcome!
