If anyone wants to know both sides of the issue, Bee Culture's "Catch the Buzz" e-newsletter has additional info here: http://home.ezezine.com/1636/1636-2010.12.17.15.26.archive.html

I don't know much, but I do wonder how corn pollen, which isn't high in protein and therefore isn't a bee-preferred food source, could be responsible for so much trouble. I'm still waiting to see the evidence.

A friend forwarded me this issue with Pesticide Action Network, I am forwarding it along to the Orange County Bee community.  It is an article on Clothianidin is a widely used pesticide linked to a severe and dangerous decline in honeybee populations.

Click here (or paste this address in your browser) to read the article and sign petition to EPA if you are interested: http://action.panna.org/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=5370
