Mary Lou,

Also, (I don't know your level of experience) are you familiar enough with bee larvae to know whether these are bee larvae or just some other type of grub? Can you describe them? Are they alive or dead? What color are they (white, tan-ish, grey-ish)? If they are alive, do they move like inch worms (feet all along their bodies) or like slugs (feet only near the head)?
