Hi Everyone,
I just spoke with Mark Davis in Chapel Hill who said there is a honeybee colony in a knot in an oak tree about 25-30 feet up. He says that they have been there for about a month, but could have been there longer. The tree is going to have to come down in the next few months and he wants to save the bees before they take the tree down. He said the tree people will not take the tree down with the bees in it. He lives in Chapel Hill behind Glenn Lennox and his number is 919-967-6865. Give him a call if you can help him out.
Thanks,
Becky
