I'd like to separate the wax from the honey in order to use the wax in a project with my grandkids. Anyone know the best way to do this? -Elisabeth CurtisChop it up in a container and put in front of a hive and let the bees clean it up for you. Also works great for cappings. When they are done you will have a yellowish saw-dust-like material. Boil this with equal volumes of water, stirring from time to time. Let cool and you will have a cake of beeswax with a little crud on the bottom. Wash off with stream of water. Tom |
