The March meeting of the Orange County Beekeepers Association will be
Thursday, March 17 at 7:30.



The program will be presented by Will Hicks, State Bee Inspector. His
topic will be "Blossoms and Flowering Plants for Bees"





Minutes of Feb. 17, 2005 meeting:



Package bees: Jeff Lee is getting bees this year and has offered to
supply bees to any member who wants them. The cost is $50 per 3 lb
package. If you are interested, send a check to Jeff at 1818 Saddle
Club Road; Hillsborough, NC 27278. His phone numbers are 304-3669 and
949-6140. Email address is jeffreyrlee AT yahoo.com. He will be going
soon, so contact him or send money as soon as possible if interested.



N.C. Zoo Bee Booth: The state association is encouraging member
organizations to identify fund raising activities to support the cost of
the Zoo's Bee Booth. The Executive Board is considering options and
requests input from members. Contact Eva Hoke (eva.hoke AT duke.edu) with
suggestions, or bring them to the next meeting.



John Wallace presented a very informative program on bee management.
