Our jazz archivist uses Jeff at ClairAudia here in Durham (919-402-9678).  If the ½” and ¼” open reel audio tapes are fairly “healthy” you could use Jeff.  But George Blood at SafeSound is definitely a good choice too.

Hello,

Can anyone on the list recommend a good audio transfer service in the eastern part of the country (preferably in NC)? A friend has some 1/2” & 1/4” open reel audio from the late 50’s/early 60’s that they’d like to get BWF files from.
