Fort Kent King from FEDCO is very tasty and ripens in August here in zone 3.  Canes dry out in our Winter's low humidity so I lay the canes down to be covered with snow.................and by the way, this variety is EXTRAVAGANTLY productive, plus, in some years I get a second, smaller crop.
